The introduction week starts with the Limbopad, where we will also setup/stand/clear away from 8:30 to 11:00: the first year students will walk past us and many other associations, and this is thus the first opportunity for them to get into contact with Noesis.

We will be at the Campus market on Tuesday the 20th of August in which we will have our own stand where people can play chess and we can introduce them to the association.

On Thursday the 22nd of August we will be organising workshops for the new students. The workshops will contain some lecture about chess + a tournament / freeplay.

Everyone knows doorhaaldonderdag, right? We will play chess and chill into the night (doorhaaldonderdag) till everyone is tired and/or everyone gives up and goes home to sleep ;)

Holiday is over but don't worry the chess season starts! Today, the first cubnight will be held. First our new chairman Niels is going to present a famous game. In hand and brain chess you join up with a teammate to form one functioning body. The brain first tells the hand what piece to move. Then the hand has to decide which move to make with that piece. After two weeks of lectures this clubnight is all about playing chess! We will have big 3+2 blitz tournament in the religion room (Luna 1.240).  Where you are going to have the chance to outsmart your opponent with little time on the clock. Make sure to come by!
