Introduction week: Limbopad

The introduction week starts with the Limbopad, where we will also setup/stand/clear away from 8:30 to 11:00: the first year students will walk past us and many other associations, and this is thus the first opportunity for them to get into contact with Noesis.

Introduction week: Campus market

TU/e campus

We will be at the Campus market on Tuesday the 20th of August in which we will have our own stand where people can play chess and we can introduce them to the association.

Introduction week: Workshops

On Thursday the 22nd of August we will be organising workshops for the new students. The workshops will contain some lecture about chess + a tournament / freeplay.

GMM 7 – Transfer of boards

Lecture Dolf Meijer

Hand and brain

In hand and brain chess you join up with a teammate to form one functioning body. The brain first tells the hand what piece to move. Then the hand has to decide which move to make with that piece. Blitz tournament

After two weeks of lectures this clubnight is all about playing chess! We will have big 3+2 blitz tournament in the religion room (Luna 1.240).  Where you are going to have the chance to outsmart your opponent with little time on the clock. Make sure to come by!

Underground rapid

To load the activities calendar in the Google Calendar app on your phone; after subscribing to the calendar go to “Settings” in the Google Calendar app. Then select the agenda of Noesis activities and switch on “Synchronizing”. This should load the activities in your Google Calendar app!

 

To subscribe to the calendar in Outlook; on your laptop/pc, select the iCalendar subscribe option, click “Open Pick an app” and then select to open with Outlook. This should load the activities in your Outlook agenda!
