First Club Night 2023-2024!

Academic life is starting again as the holiday has sadly ended, but this also means that your favourite chess club Noesis is getting active again! The first club night of the year will be on the first Wednesday.
We will start by giving a lecture covering some of Morphy’s Miniatures. Paul Charles Morphy, described as “The Pride and Sorrow” of chess, is widely acknowledged as the greatest player of his era whose brilliance continues to inspire and intrigue chess beginners and masters alike. Shortly after we will hold a tournament where everyone can play, so be sure to stay.
The first club night is the ideal opportunity to catch up with everyone again, get back into chess, and for prospective new members to taste the atmosphere of a Noesis club night. We look forward to meeting all of you (again) in the new academic year!
The evening will kick off in Luna 1.050 at 19:30. Hope to see you there!
To load the activities calendar in the Google Calendar app on your phone; after subscribing to the calendar go to “Settings” in the Google Calendar app. Then select the agenda of Noesis activities and switch on “Synchronizing”. This should load the activities in your Google Calendar app!
To subscribe to the calendar in Outlook; on your laptop/pc, select the iCalendar subscribe option, click “Open Pick an app” and then select to open with Outlook. This should load the activities in your Outlook agenda!
