Club night: crash course OTB chess + games

On October 13th , we will host our sixth club night! It will take place in Luna 1.240.
We start at 19:30 when Thomas will give a talk on chess etiquette. His crash course is highly recommended if you’re participating in the upcoming WLC-tournament, or just want to know moving pieces around the board (and more!) should be done at a serious tournament.
After that, we will have a rapid tournament, with 7 min and 3 sec per move on each player’s clock. We intend to play 3-4 rounds, depending on interest. We’ll use the rating you supply us together with the Swiss pairing system to try to get you to play against opponents of a similar level, but we won’t maintain a ranking.
Note that in order to participate in the tournament, you must be present at 19:30! There is no “walk-in half hour”.

To load the activities calendar in the Google Calendar app on your phone; after subscribing to the calendar go to “Settings” in the Google Calendar app. Then select the agenda of Noesis activities and switch on “Synchronizing”. This should load the activities in your Google Calendar app!
To subscribe to the calendar in Outlook; on your laptop/pc, select the iCalendar subscribe option, click “Open Pick an app” and then select to open with Outlook. This should load the activities in your Outlook agenda!
