Club night: hand-and-brain tournament!

On September 22, we will host our third club night! It will be in the Luna building, in room 1.240. It will start at 19:30 and end around 23:00.
We will kick off the evening with a hand-and-brain tournament. For those of you unfamiliar with hand-and-brain chess, the concept is very simple: you play in pairs, where one player is the hand, and one player is the brain. The brain names a piece (e.g. ‘knight’), and the hand makes a move with this piece.
After that, we will host free play between members: you can choose to play some bughouse chess, fast chess, regular chess, or ask one of our stronger players for tips on your favourite opening.
This is our first club night which is not open; that is, it is in principle only for members. However, if you are not a member, and you have never visited our club night before, you are very much free to come and have a look.

To load the activities calendar in the Google Calendar app on your phone; after subscribing to the calendar go to “Settings” in the Google Calendar app. Then select the agenda of Noesis activities and switch on “Synchronizing”. This should load the activities in your Google Calendar app!
To subscribe to the calendar in Outlook; on your laptop/pc, select the iCalendar subscribe option, click “Open Pick an app” and then select to open with Outlook. This should load the activities in your Outlook agenda!
