On May 13, 14 and 15, there will be a weekend chess tournament in Eindhoven. It is a serious chess tournament with 6 long, rated games (1h 30 m + increment for each player). For anyone who wants to experience what it is like to play in a serious chess tournament, this is a great opportunity! It happens rarely that such a big tournament is so close to home. There is an A-group for players rated over 1700 and a B-group for players rated below 1800. Costs are €30,-.

Last year, about ten players from Noesis took part, and it can be said that this was a great success!

There’s also big money to be won: first prize is €700,- in the A-group and €150,- in the B-group, as well as some rating prizes of €75,- but the competition will be fierce!

More info (unfortunately in Dutch) can be found on www.svwlc.nl/wlc-weekendtoernooi/weekendtoernooi-info .

If you have any further questions, you can contact the organizing club WLC or just ask us at info@sccenoesis.nl .

Hope to see you there 🙂
